Year is 1968. Orla, a former crime correspondent of the New York Sunday Independent comes to Ireland, her country of origin, in search of a story to publish.While unpleasantly surprised with the way society still treats women here, she finds an article in a local newspaper about the chief of the local police, who was found dead. Being an experienced journalist, she senses a good story. Together with Sheridan, the new chief inspector, who's attracted by Orla's free spirit and explosive nature, she restarts whatever was stopped with the death of the former chief.The story is imbued with action, romance and sharp humor. Conversations are as fast and dynamic as the action.
