For the Missing Blue Bridge is a collection of poems written by someone who overthinks ordinary moments and then refuses to let them go. Instead of moving on like a well-adjusted and sane person, the author has chosen to examine absence, longing, and emotional missteps in unnecessary detail and call it a book.

The "missing blue bridge" refers to a connection that should exist but doesn't, or no longer does. The poems spend a lot of time standing on one side of that gap, pointing out what's missing, replaying conversations that are long over, and wondering how things became this complicated. There are no answers offered here, mostly because there aren't any. If there were, they would have been included to save everyone some time.
