Cali Baxter never saw her self as anything other than an average twelve-year-old tomboy. Growing up with only her mother around, Cali had settled into a comfortable routine of school and hanging out with her best friend, Riley. Everything changes however when she sees a mysterious stranger spying on her from just outside her school grounds. Suddenly her life is uprooted as she is forced to enter a world she never knew existed. A world filled with gods and goddesses, who seem more concerned for their own well-being than for the well being of the mortals around them. One goddess in particular, however, seems to delight in the turmoil her actions cause to the world around her. It is not long before Cali must use the knowledge she has gained from this new world to try and stop the erratic goddess before the havoc she is bringing about changes the world she knew forever. Will Cali be able to prevent a catastrophe in time, or will time not be on her side?
