THE MIRROR AND THE MUSE: A Book of Poetry (MISTY MOUNTAIN CHRONICLES)

These poems were written between September 2022 and May 2023, when most mornings I would wake early and write. I have presented them in chronological order with a date at the end of each poem and, for some, a comment and reference.Many of the poems are organized into five verses of seven lines each. Some are like a story with a beginning and closing verse, a shift in mood or momentum in the third verse and development in the second and fourth. They play out in different sequences and integrate in this five by seven form.
