I am a descendant of spiritual warriors. For generations, my family has preached the gospel from pulpits and doorsteps. This inheritance has come with many battles: abuse, homelessness, gambling, and a suicide attempt.

There were times when I wanted to throw in the towel, when I almost let the demons get ahold of me. However, not only did I survive, but I thrived.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy." (John 10:10). When you bear the mark of the Lord, the enemy doubles down on all efforts to eliminate you. Not only is this normal, but it is expected.
