Caterina Giselle Carpenter is a slightly chubby forty eight year old nurse who loves cats, talks to angels and has terrible luck with men. She is going along with her life just like everyone else when 'bam' one night she finds herself in a conference with some angels and told she is being sent on a mission to save the cats on another planet. She reluctantly agrees when she is promised that afterwards she will reunited with her Earth life. Just like that she wakes up and finds herself in another body and surrounded by all kinds of fairytale creatures like fairies, elves, trolls and dragons. The good thing is she finds she has certain powers like the ability to heal anything, and she has a protective "bubble" when cats are around her. She even has a magic jewel that makes her invisible. All this is of little consequence to her. She just wants to hurry up and finish her mission so she can go home. The bad part is that suddenly she is being hunted by many who want to stop her for completing her mission. Then she meet a handsome prince who looks like the man of her dreams. Problem. He has been cursed and gives her waking nightmares when he touches her. He is also a bossy, infuriating pain in the butt. All she want to do is finish her "mission" and go home and getting entangled with a man is something she is determined to avoid. But it looks like if the others have their way she is going to be delayed.
