Some folk are born heroes.
Borrik Thrice-Horned was born short, angry, and deeply suspicious of destiny.
Mocked as a "Minitaur" by fools taller than they were clever, Borrik wanders the crooked roads of the world with his enormous axe, a wounded old warrior named Garrun Vale, an ugly bog nymph called Nettle, and a deeply criminal goose wearing a crown.
Together they face burning moors haunted by the Ember Hound, gardens that devour thieves, circuses filled with stolen memories, crows that speak with the voices of the dead, buried kings beneath mountains, and the terrifying labyrinth hidden under the world itself.
But something stalks the roads behind them.
A masked hunter known only as the Horn Collector.
He gathers trophies from forgotten creatures, broken monsters, and fallen kings - and he believes Borrik is the greatest prize of all.
The Minitaur is a tale of strange roads, dangerous magic, unlikely friendship, and the stubborn refusal to become what the world expects.
Because sometimes the fate of the world rests not with kings or chosen heroes...
...but with a foul-tempered dwarf minotaur who argues with prophecy, robs destiny blind, and absolutely refuses to sit on any throne.
