The Mimosa Tree: Fall of Helencia

Bys: DeGrace, Coup, Jadereaper, Ladyvexing, Booh, Doves

Helencia is supposed to be a place free of the old ways. New Kings have risen to take up the responsibility of seeing the World Tree thrive, and the people with it. This comes with the heavy burden of knowing some things cannot change. The barns must be the first generations born on the world- for they will be the first connected to it. The root of all that comes after.

But what happens when the old ways cannot be undone? When the hearts leading the way are faced with suffering too great to overcome? A beast is made in one of the royal barns. A mad Primordial tries to prepare for the events to come. A Lady attempts to save his family from their fate. And an echo carries with it knowledge beyond its time.

When fate has a tale to tell, sometimes, all one can do to fight darkness- is to become part of it.
