Thuranira Mweti reclaims his story in a remarkably inspiring memoir, holding nothing back. He reflects on what it is like to go through the school system, employment, and entrepreneurship phases. Thuranira paints a picture of how easy it is sometimes, to lose control of one's own narrative of life through the struggles that we are faced with. Thuranira's early years were filled with a strong desire to excel, but when he gets to "Boot camp", each day brings challenges he cannot fully predict or plan for. Desperate to adopt while hiding the fact that he has not faced the knife, as is the norm before high school, he confronts the complexity of his situation by trying to straddle between hidden fear within him and pretentious outward confidence. He is saved by boys from his hometown and ends up in drama and music clubs and in the basketball team.

Having failed to achieve desired results from boot camp fumbles through options available for his not so good grades. His career begins as a fluke by his mother, when she introduces him to a grumpy, quiet and smart old man, among the many other options she has tried with him, in an effort to help him make something out of his life. A chat one afternoon turns his life's trajectory into an unknown path, painted as a promising career by the elderly HR practitioner who links Thuranira to his career path.

Thuranira introduces readers into his life as a practicing HR, and gives an unflinching account of the peace and turbulence he has had to go through, to rise to different levels of his career, through strong resilience coupled with faith, resulting to very uncertain courses of action. He elaborates the pressure and exploitation by some employers at certain jobs, which started as fun jobs, only to later turn into circuses and drama theatres. He sheds light on his best but reckless moves that have given him victory, and most futile efforts and circumstances that have resulted to failure.
This debut series of The Millennial HR Dude (MHRD) books project, written by a HR dude still in the arena, not after retirement but from the middle of the fight to finding himself, is geared toward giving hope, entertainment and strengthening faith in oneself to get to their purpose.
