Job responsibilities, the arrival of a new sibling, or interference with other activities like sleep or meals, may pose challenges for an extended breastfeeding journey. This story allowed my first child and I to process feelings about the end of our extended breastfeeding journey with magical realism. Years after its original creation, it is still a book favorite at my own home.
