fascinating, personal account of Italian-American history

The author has written a wonderful, entertaining account of his family history. Sometime it was a little hard to keep track of names but my sympathy for the characters and interest was held all the way through. The photagraphs are a great addition, emphasizing the fact that these are real people.This is an inspiring story about the determination and courage of American immigrants.
