Easy to read and apply

While both are excellent, compared to the Tyndale NT volume on the Pastorals, this (Bible Speaks Today) volume is quite different.It has a less 'scholarly' audience, lacking baggage such as discussions of authorship and so on. Stott's style is easy going and thought provoking.Having the text (from the Bible) in line with the commentary means it is easy to carry around as well - it is a complete package, great for reading on the train...Well suited to personal study.
