Seventh in the Merry Maines series,these catly adventures with the Maine Coon inhabitants of Siberia Farm in North Central Maine once more have to deal with their favorite vet's Aunt Augusta, his bilingual dog and vicious "designer dogs" whose owner has moved into the neighborhood. Again they travel south to Tennessee for their favorite cat show and encounter many new situations, some of which include a dustup with a mountaineer bootlegger and the rescue of a former feline TV star and while Bhu Fan, their feline seeress, complains about dogs, bears and visiting video makers, it's Aunt Augusta who has the last laugh.
