I was born in White Plains, just outside of Lovingston. Soon afterwards, my mother and I joined the rest of my family in "the Cove". Daddy (Keith Marshall Baker), Mother (Ariminta Jefferson Coleman Renee Baker), sister, Eleanor, and brother, Keith, were living with Granddaddy and Grandma in a big farmhouse that was located over the ridge west of Lovingston, called Lovingston Cove. Also living in the farmhouse were Aunt Ruth, Uncle Donald, who later married Betty Harris, and Aunt Ernestine (Teen), who later married John Trainum. Granddaddy always called Aunt Teen his baby. Aunt Olive had already married John Loving and was living at White Plains by this time.
