Well-written; easy to read

As a teacher, you begin to get a sense for what works and what doesn't. The format of this book was researched prior to get the maximum effect...the layout is well done to maximize getting the point across...to make it stick. Real-life stories and examples...applicable.

An Excellent Book needed for Marriages today!!!!

This book is surely a blessing. Just about everyone I speak with today is having some type of difficulty in their marriage. This book is very encouraging as well as very informative as to how we can restore our marriages if we would be obedient to God's instruction. He created us and gave us his Holy Word (The bible) to guide us in all aspects of our lives. I highly recommend this book!

going great

We are using the Marriage Prayer in our small group. It is written very different from other marriage books. One man doesn't like to read and he liked how the reading is split up often by pictures, captions, etc. We would reccommend this book.

Not Just Another Marriage Book

I highly recommend this book. It's so different than any other marriage study book we've ever done. The activities really get you thinking and spur on really good thought provoking conversation. Our mindset has definitely changed. It's so helpful to be reminded everyday of the gift that our spouse is and to pray for them and our marriage. Thanks for an excellent book!

The Marriage Prayer

I am so excited about this book. I have read it from cover to cover and just wish I had it years ago. It is so real to life, not just another book about theories on how marriages should work. The feature of having real couples with real problems share them thruout the book makes the material so much more believable and true. I can relate to almost every couple and the struggle or issue they were facing. And I loved the creativity in the design of the book. Big pages, more pictures and diagrams and games then words. It was so easy to read and I think I learned more just the way it was put together. I have given away 5 books already and have ordered another 10. I have given it to some of the men I am mentoring, and they say it is already making a difference in their relationships. I can see this being used by pastors for premaritial counseling, marriage counselors, church groups, even giving it to every person thinking about getting married. Anyone who is serious about making their marriage the best it can be should get a copy and start using it now.
