Dr. Hooks' Bio

This book is excellent! I met Dr. Hooks and his lovely wife Mrs. Frances years ago but I didn't know much about his life except for his work with the NAACP. To see his life in words and pictures truly gave you insight into a great American! Despite the numerous obstacles he faced as a Black man growing up in the south, Dr. Hooks (and his family) didn't allow all of the racial roadblocks and hatred to stop him from achieving his dreams. He had a brilliant mind and a humble heart. We could all learn lessons from this great man. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
