Uhhh...

I read this book more than 20 yrs ago. It was advertised on the radio (odd place for book plugs). I remembered some but when I read it again, I was shocked as I forgot half the story. It makes one both angry, anxious & sad. It's an engaging & interesting story; I also discovered it was based on factual events.

Well written and intriguing story.

A well paced novel with interesting characters infused with changing relationships. There are many dimensions to the story: physical intimacy with graphic descriptions of multiple man/boy rapes, murder, all of which underly the emotional/mental gyrations of the main characters as the story races to its inevitable conclusion. Well worth reading several times to discover other nuances to the main characters.
