The Man That Stands Before You

"The Man That Stands Before You" is a first hand account of a life that seems like it jumped out of the pages of a modern day adventure or spy novel. There is no way someone has had this much excitement in their life and still retain the brain power to recant it all without missing a beat. Each chapter describes the details of separate events that have only their author in common with each other. So if I had to put a classification on it, which I hate doing, I guess you could call it biographical but it crosses many genres. It's funny, it explores some social issues and will teach you everything that you ever needed to know about the law and your rights. From the author Today I am not the man that I was twenty years ago or yesterday for that matter. But I did live these chapters and they made me into the man I am today. Kind of a mind screw if you think about it too much. Some of the more colorful titles are "The Meltdown at the Navy Yard," That one ought to ruffle some feathers, "No, She's not a Bimbo" I'll let you make the call on that and "The Stripper and the C.H.P"she never did meet the California Highway Patrol, at least not on my watch. The stories include an ironic account of bringing someone back from the dead, the distinction that I share with no other man on the planet (so far) and A real life, modern day gun fight in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night. I have included some things that I am not proud of right along with some of my best days. The book is about the contrast of life but is mostly written with sort of a parable undertone. There is no picture of me on the jacket of this book because I look like everybody else and work around thousands of people everyday. My identity is not a secret I just wanted you to try to imagine what the man looks like that is capable of chaos. You just never know what the man standing in front of you is capable of. Read this book. If you hate it you could give it to someone you hate and in a sense remove some hate from your burden.
