From Wikipedia: "The Man Nobody Knows (1925) is the second book by the American author and advertising executive Bruce Fairchild Barton. In it, Barton presents Jesus as "[t]he Founder of Modern Business," in an effort to make the Christian story accessible to businessmen of the time. When published in 1925, The Man Nobody Knows topped the nonfiction bestseller list, and was one of the best-selling non-fiction books of the 20th century." As someone with an MBA - I will point out that Mr Barton's observations on "modern business" (particularly advertising) from 1925 are just as valid in the 21st Century. I don't think his interpretation of Jesus and the Bible will be controversial - since Mr Barton was writing at a time when "fire and brimstone" sermons would have been familiar to most and the "artistic interpretation" of Jesus would have been mostly from the "middle ages" and Renaissance eras. I wrote a short introduction covering how the world has changed since 1925 - e.g. in 1925 the Model T was the best selling car in the world, newspapers and magazines dominated "mass media", and the first Academy Awards was still 4 years away.
