Bought it on a Saturday evening...finished it on a Sunday morning. It kinda left me hanging at the end, but the drama never ceased...Any angle on relation topics: black woman/black man, black woman/white man, black man/white woman, black man/black man, black woman/black woman...SHE COVERS 'EM ALL with stark examples.
Great read

It took me a while to find a copy of this book, but i must say it was worth the wait. I see where a lot of reviewers had problems with the editing, it was not a problem with me as long as i can read it i'm find. The main characther Jazzman, is something else, she will have you laughing out loud. The only problem i had with the book, is that Jazzman made a big deal about people's color complexion, but other than that it was all good.
VOODOO LOVE

VOODOO LOVE IS A BOOK THAT I PRAISE HIGHLY. SONIA CAULTON DID NOT HESITATE TO INDICATE WITHIN HER NOVEL THAT THERE ARE TRULY INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE THIS WORLD WHO WILL GO THROUGH ANY LENGTH TO KEEP HER MAN. THIS BOOK WAS EXCELLENT TO READ IT WAS TRULY A PAGE TURNER. FOR EXAMPLE, DARIKA WAS VERY INSECURE WITH HER APPEARANCE, SHE NEEDED MORE THAN A PARAPROFESSIONAL TO ASSIST HER WITH HER ISSUES ; BASICALLY, SHE NEED TO FIND OUT WHO SHE REALLY WAS PRIMAIRLY. SECONDLY KEITH HE WAS YOUR TYPICAL BROTHER , HE WANTED TO HAVE HIS MAIN COURSE MEALS, ALONG WITH HIS APPETIZERS. IN OTHER WORDS A COMPLETE DOG!!!!! LOW DOWN DIRTY DOG. BEVERLY, SHE TOO HAS ISSUES PERTAINING TO HER LIFE STYLE OF LIVING YET NOT BEING SATISFIED WITH HER SEXUAL NEEDS. THIS TRULY DISPLAYED IT'S CHEAPER TO KEEP HIM. ODESSIA, A GIRL WHO TOO, WOULD DO ANYTHING, AT ANY EXTREME TO KEEP HER MAN. HER PERSONA WAS DEFINITELY A SIMARLARITY AS DARIKA'S FOR THE EXCEPTION SHE WAS MUCH MORE SOPHISTICATED. I TRULY RECCOMMEND ANY ONE TO READ THIS BOOK. IT WILL KEEP YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT AS WELL AS TO MAKE ONE THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON AROUND YOU. WAY TO GO GIRL! THE BOOK WAS FANTASTIC! HURRY UP AND WRITE A NEW ONE!!
A Sista Keeping it REAL!

This was a great book!It just tells how some men with not only fame, but also money, treats a real women. I think this book can relate to alot of women of the 90's. The only part that really puzzled me was, "Why did he have to leave her." I think that more women writers need to write about men chasing women, instead of us chasing men. Overall, I feel that she did an excellent job on focussing on reality (with the exception of all women being materialistic. We don't have to wear Channel or drive Mercedes Beens to make us look good in the eyes of someone else, we can live comfortable and be secure within ourselves and still have a man chasing us. All my girlfriends have enjoyed this book. We think back and begin to laugh and discuss just how men really are. Trust me girlfriend, I can relate to the club scene. Sista, it's reality on what you wrote. Stay focus and I'm looking forward to reading more books from you soon. A non writer's TIP.... "If alot of writers capture the attention of their readers like Sonia did in the beginning, their books would probably sell more. Congradulations on a job well done!
