Hardworking NYPD homicide detective Olivia Marinock is very committed to her job in Brooklyn. So much so that she has little social life outside of it. The closest thing to friends she has are her mentor Randall and her junior detective partner, Kevin, at the bureau. With one of them on leave for a family matter, she is even more alone.
