Book 18: The Goldan Kingdom
Mark Peddlestone, a young peasant who lives in the east district of the Goldan Kingdom, finds himself bestowed with the royal treasure known as the Goldan Sword and must travel to the Folon Forest, the Canto Volcano, the Reptog Lake, Airis Mountain, and the Towers of Light and Darkness to restore the Sword's power, all in an effort to free his King from a petrifying curse placed upon him by the evil mage Rolock Wobniar. Mark soon learns that his Sword is but one of ten divine relics, and he must gather the rest before a nefarious group obtains them and uses them for their own evil ends. Mark travels to the Cursed Land of Malarax, where he seeks out the rest of the Ten Goldan Objects, encountering a foe beyond all others and receiving an omen about its chaos-wreaking emissaries known as the Seven Dark Souls.

Book 19: The Ultimate Trial
After five years of waiting for the Dark Soul hidden in the Goldan Kingdom to reveal himself, an impromptu visit from a mysterious man forces Mark to abandon his world and travel to six others, battling the various minions of the Great Evil across the cosmos before joining the rest of the Heroes of the Universe in what they hope will serve as their final assault against the antagonistic Embodiment of Nothingness itself.
