When Emily moves to the country, she discovers a meadow in the woods near her new home. One day, when she goes to play there, she meets a mysterious little man and chases some playful pups away from his strawberry patch. After she helps him repair the little garden, he promises to come some time when she needs him.When Emily's mother comes up to take her home, the little man and his garden are nowhere to be seen. But Emily won't forget her adventure. Later, in the winter, when Emily falls ill, she encounters the little man and this time, he brings his magic strawberries.
