Terry was born and raised in the small town of Chatsworth Georgia in the North Georgia Mountains, where he spent his Christmas walking through the woods looking for that perfect Christmas tree and climbing trees to pull out that mistletoe that would hang above the doorway as you enter the kitchen. Terry recalls that everyone would come to the kitchen because that was where all the food was and especially the chocolate cake that his mom seemed to make the chocolate of a little extra thick.
