As a Master Florist, judge, and qualified teacher, she has a lot to offer. The reason for Christine's interest, not only in the flower show, but also in the many displays exhibited, comes about from her first short attendance at the show, for her employer during her floristry training in the United Kingdom in the late nineteen sixties. From that moment on, she has had a commitment and connection to the show, floristry and the education needed by people to become a florist. While perusing the colourful pages, and short comments, the book offers hours of enjoyment. Through the poems, the reader will gain an insight into the atmosphere, and the Magic the Flower Show offers to many thousands of people yearly. With so many exhibits on display, from sculpture created through so many mediums: glass, copper, marble and more, and to flower growers extending the boundaries taking the flower industry to ever creative outcomes. Of course, then the floral design exhibits, each with its own message to the many who stopped to look, think, and ponder on the creation set before them.

It would be difficult to compare such an experience, as experienced at the world- and first-class annual meeting by the people that love flowers. Because not all people can travel to such an event, it was Christine's idea to take the book and its content to the people of the world, who also love flowers and the joy they bring into so many people's lives.
