A Charming Book

Two orphans escape from their mean aunt, and team up with Mortimer Wintergreen, an interesting fellow with an even more interesting magical hat. The hat has a personality of its own.I liked the way this book was the way it was set in the 1890's, proving that not all things old are boring. It also had a nice, sweet ending, and gut-ripping humor.I read this book in elementary school, and still remember it!
