One of the best for group study.

MacArthur's Study Guide Series is probably one of the best I have ever used. Each chapter has some opening, thought provoking questions. Then MacArthur gives some context surrounding the scripture and key terms to help understand the reading. The scripture readings are also included in the study guide. After reading the scripture, there are some more general questions and then another different portion of scripture with some questions to compare the two scripture readings. Finally, there are a few more questions that explore the meaning of the scripture and then some questions to reflect on the text. I would highly recommend this book to assist you or your group to study the book of Matthew. The questions are thought provoking and lend themselves to great discussions in a small group.

Great for groups or individual study

This is a wonderful study guide. We are using it in our group study at church which is always best, but I have some health issues and am also getting a lot out of it by myself at home.
