In the Lycan Journal, Gordo Gates, a thirteen-year-old boy makes a startling discovery concerning the history of werewolves, which needs to be exposed no matter what the personal consequences are to the fretful narrator of the story.
I gave this book five stars mainly because of the likeable characters, narratation and illustrations, the cover especially. The journal is divided up into time periods like a real journal; my favorite period was the lycan fights.
A fun read!

I really enjoyed this book! It was a lot of fun. It was kind of similiar to Artemis Fowl and Lemony Snicket. The character that I liked best in the book was Dusty Miller,a ten-year-old half werewolf/half human who didn't really seem to fit in anywhere. I also liked the fact that the author wrote about Lost Lobos a secret werewolf world. Anyway, it has a lot of wit in it and makes for an enjoyable read. I couldn't wait to turn each page. I hope there's a sequel!
