Incredible how the author puts us in the angels' thoughts and feelings. Read this book if you are at all interested in pre-flood history. Actually, just read this book. It is fantastic

A solid, well-developed plot, intriguing enough to keep me glued to the pages. The fighting between the angels and demons was funny but serious and plausible. The emphasis on free will, even knowing the outcome, was brilliantly done.

You could see how Lucifer might have thought he was worthy and able to take over God's place, and how he could have convinced the other fallen angels to side with him. The characters are very well done, and the writing is so vivid. While the story is fiction, of course, the description of the Lord's mercy, power and judgment is true to the Bible and hey, it COULD have happened this way
