The Lovers' Crusade

In spring 1095, Christian and Emelye make love for the first time. When it is announced Christian must fulfill his obligation to marry Lady Arianna the lovers know their dream of bring together is over. Months later Emelye realizes she is with child but refuses to tell anyone who the father is and is exiled from the home and family she loves.

During the time Christian is gone Emelye earns the love and respect of the villager and Arianna's father.

When Christian returns, he has been scared by his experiences and with Emelye's help over-comes his demons, faces Arianna's father, and earns the support of his villagers. But can the strong independent people their crusades have made them once again find the love they once shared?
