The Loud Thunderous Roar of Girls Searching for Invisible Love takes place over one year at the fictional Kleggstown University. The four college girls at the center of this story are living in an apartment together on Main Street, a few blocks from campus. Trina and Jess are seniors; Aubrey and Savannah are juniors. Trina, a Communication Design major, has her sights set on the future where she will be living in Philly with her boyfriend Jared. Jess, a photography major, is hoping to live in New York and work as a real photographer after graduation. Aubrey, who has no idea what her plans are, is a total flake but a real sweetheart. Savannah, who is majoring in crafts just because it was "fun and easy," is going through what she calls a "sexual identity transformation" much like a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly. Sometimes they get along and other times it's a full on war. In between (and sometimes during) these unpredictable moments, they are all trying to find that invisible, impossible love that they have been seeking their entire lives.
