William Archer lives an ordinary life, with an accountant-job, a middle-class home and a seemingly loving wife. One night William discovers that his wife has been cheating on him with his boss. Sad and disappointed, William drives to a diner where he meets Elle, a beautiful waitress. Later that night, William witnesses a terrible car crash. Determined to save the victim's life, he races to the nearest hospital, but this good deed will not go unpunished. Little does he know, the man whose life he tried to save was meant to be killed by two FBI agents. Now they are out to get William.
