The Lost Generation

This poem describes a harrowing time in our history. The author was inspired by the depth of feeling and the fear of being forgotten that plagued the writers of the "lost generation." We can see bit of that fear in ourselves and in others of our time. It is easy to feel lost in a time of social media and technology. This poem is a bridge that closes the gap between the two generations. The author hopes it reminds people that nothing is ever truly lost.
