Hollywood icon John Wayne's career spanned from 1926-76 and produced numerous movies, so you'd think most of them would have received much attention by now - but The Lost Films of John Wayne demonstrates there's a number which remain unavailable with only two kept from the public. These were released in the mid-1950s and based on novels by Ernest K. Gann, and are finally celebrated here, in a coverage which provides close inspection of the two movies and the reason why they were suppressed until the summer of 2005.
