This book, "The Lord, My Shepherd," is based on Psalm 23, which is well-known to both believers and unbelievers alike. Even Christians can quote it easily. However, its familiarity has led us to almost lose sight of its relevance in our life's journey.

The writer of this psalm penned it from his own experiences, as he relied completely on God. In this world infested with evil, where malevolence prevails like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, the Lord can serve as a shepherd to those who have given their lives to Jesus Christ. They are under His care, and He watches over them. They are no longer alone because they have God as their Shepherd. For those who have not yet surrendered their lives, they remain at the mercy of the devil, which possesses no mercy. Jesus, the lover of their souls, is the one who gave His life for them.

This psalm also opens our eyes to the goodness and mercy of God. He is no longer angry with mankind; instead, He invites us to repentance and to partake in His feast of mercy. God is a loving father and a good shepherd. Join me on this journey to meet the loving, kind, and good shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.
