The 23rd Psalm is the best-known Psalm in the Holy Bible. It may well be the best-known Bible passage throughout the whole world. I memorized it as a small child in Sunday school at our church in Marshall, Missouri. Perhaps you learned it as a child as well. Psalm 23 is printed in most funeral pamphlets, and it is read at many funerals and memorial services, in addition to being read or quoted at weddings and other special occasions. We know this Psalm and love it, for it brings peace and comfort to our souls.
