The Lord is My Shepherd

I found this to be a delightful book with illustrations that reflect the appropriate feelings and understanding of the appropriate audience, the young child. The paraphrasing of Psalm 23 is appropriate as well with words that are meaningful to the preschool and early elementary child.

Illustrations & text convey message well

The book did an excellent job of conveying the peaceful, encouraging emotions of the 23rd Psalm. The "adult version" of the Psalm was included at the beginning, followed by a simple, easily understood version for children. I liked that both versions were included. The illustrations were simple and bright and really added to the child's understanding of Psalm 23. Best of all, my children loved it and asked to read it time and again.
