The Look Within

The author, to some extent, is using this book of poetry to hopefully launch her writing career; but at the same time, she would like to see this book of poetry become an inspirational tool for young people. Perhaps young readers can be comforted by the fact that they are not the only ones who have suffered through situations written about, and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps learning there are people out there who are willing to lend a helping hand to those in need can also comfort them.
