The Long Low Whistle Review

This was an alright horror novel where our main character, Patricia, goes back to her hometown, where her dad died in a mining accident, and goes to investigate it following doubts about his death. The tension was definitely there, along with the horror setting of the mine and cave. The author does a really good job of portraying and writing horrifying creatures. Unfortunately, I felt like the book lacked a proper telling of its story due to its short length. The book is alright in its story and looks of cave horror, but it needs just a little more to it. Overall, the book is interesting, and if you're looking for a short horror read, this is it.
