Long and dragged out

Good story line, but long descriptions of things that are boring. They do not move the story line along.

New Main Character!

I enjoyed meeting Ann’s newest character. I loved the nuances of Matthew Venn’s past. Definitely recommend

Shockingly disappointment!

Not up to par with Vera or Shetland series or even her early work. Her new character Matthew Venn is about as appealing as a bowl of dry lettuce. Got so bored with it I skipped to the end to learn the outcome! Waste of time and money!
