The Lonely Possum

The Lonely Possum was inspired by a possum who was found living in an odd place for such a creature to live, and that was behind the roller door of a garage! This story, being both simple and sweet, was written to demonstrate the similarities an animal can have to a human, for we all feel emotions. These emotions can be due to an action by another person or a reaction from one's own actions. The Lonely Possum sees a possum react to events where it makes it feel alone, however, a kind gecko one day comes along to reassure the possum that no one is ever alone! Thus, also teaching children the importance of always being kind to one another.
