In this book the author has returned to the axiomatic spirit of Prior's pioneering work on Tense Logic. He shows how a Prorean axiomatization of Tense Logic can be extended to incorporate aspectual notions. The resulting system, Event Logic, is entirely original, and differs form other formal treatments in incorporating aspectual distinctions into the heart of the formalism.
