I reflected on the many blessings and the "peculiar people" God had sent into my life. I wondered if the Lizardman was a creature, monster, hero, or just another one of God's many peculiar people. Annabel, who had requested women-only pallbearers, had once said, "The men of the church didn't take me out living - they are not carrying me out dead " I also thought about the young men who had overcome tremendous obstacles to become powerful ministers for the Lord and the people who lovingly accepted God's children regardless of their skin color or what side of the tracks they were born.
