Great Characters - Fun Read

I confess - I yell at characters! Too often I think the women in these books get hooked up with verbally abusive, "caught in past experiences" men. If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results wouldn't it seem that it is a bit nuts to be with a different women and expect them to also be moneygrubbing liars? (or whatever their lost loves did?) Laura Phillip's characters escape this. In this book her main character is a capable woman who has made a success of her life - and in falls a dream guy with a daughter - But he does not expect all women to be heartless child abandoners - and the daughter is a total charmer without being an angel. This book is fun, charming, believable, and a good read. This author should move up the ranks of great romance authors - I want more!
