The littlest lamb, born weak and small, was different from the others. Her patchy brown coat, floppy ear, and small size left her feeling alone in the cold, wet, snow. Only her master, the poor shepherd, seemed to care about her. On a cold winter night, he carried her upon his shoulders to the city of his birth, where she awoke to beautiful singing, the brightest star she had ever seen and a newborn baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. On that special night, the littlest lamb offered the greatest gift she could give to the newborn baby. She would tell the story of that night for the rest of her days, a night that changed the world and everyone in it forever, even the littlest lamb.
