The Littlest Banty [Large Print]

By: Andrufski, Thomas

When a kindly country pastor is given eight tiny banty chickens, he loves every one of them - especially the smallest, with his soft, feathered legs. But one morning the littlest banty falls ill, his head hung low, unable to eat. A neighbor shakes his head: this little chicken may not last. Alone on a quiet Sunday morning, the pastor kneels beside the pen and prays a simple prayer straight from his heart - and discovers, once again, that God hears even the smallest cry offered in love.

Based on a true story from the author's own ministry, The Littlest Banty is a tender, rhyming read-aloud for children and the grown-ups who love them. With warm, classic illustrations and a gentle message about heartfelt prayer, it reminds readers young and old that the Lord's tender mercies are over all His works - and that no prayer is ever too small for Him to hear.
