Pray about whether to get this book. This book is not all about me. It is about God. I am just an instrument, and my life is simply evidence of God's mercy and grace. Yes, I'm an Ex-Con, but sometimes, the Universe uses the worst of us to help the rest of us. I Am more than my mugshot. Maybe consider getting copies for your church library, or if you know someone who is dealing with alcoholism who believes in God, put this book in their hands.

The Miracle of "Forgiveness" is a big part of my life; we can all experience miracles. Sometimes, 'Faith precedes the Miracle, ' and other times, 'Miracles precede Faith. However you decide to look at it, please remember that 'forgiveness runs deeper than the offense that requires its' presence.'

The Dark Night of the Soul was my faithful friend; the lessons I learned then remain indelibly marked upon my grateful soul. Through the pages of this book, it is by proxy your loyal friend, too, if you allow it. But...my story is a friend who bears you pain as praise; it's a dagger/tool that plunges and buries the seed of forgiveness deep within the human heart. How does one ever heal from intense woundedness? Rinse and Repeat: forgiveness runs more profound than the offense that requires its presence. In God's Economy, nothing is wasted.

Einstein said that everything is a miracle, or nothing is a miracle. As an Ex-con for Christ or Prodigal Son returned Home, I believe that no matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. In God's Economy, nothing is wasted. I walked on water for many years but didn't know it. I survived what should have indeed resulted in my death over and over again.

Why God sometimes uses the worst of us to bring out the best in others is a mystery. When one has transmuted or forgiven 'the worst' as the Phoenix rises 490 times from the ashes (70 x 7), we discover (I heard) that "Impossible" is God's favorite word. I survived childhood abuse, alcoholism, and prison.

Hopefully, after reading this book, you'll realize you can walk on water and see that you've been doing it your whole life.

Transmuting Tragedy & the Miracle of Forgiveness go hand-in-hand. Forgiveness always runs deeper than the offense, which necessitates forgiveness. Sometimes, those who need forgiveness deserve it the least. To intone Corrie Ten Boom, we should forgive regardless of the temperature of our hearts. Forgiveness brings peace to the person giving it. Taking our power back from the pain frees us to live again.

There's no prison wall so thick that God's Love can't shine through it.
