The art of listening to the voice of God may be one of the most overlooked facets of Christian living. Many struggle through life seeking guidance and direction from a God who seems distant from their... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I will not prolong nor will I begroanthis humble review. All I want to really related is that after reading The Listening Side of Prayer by Bishop (Dr.) J. C. Hash my ears are wide open. I am eager to hear from God. I readily acknowledge the requirements spelled out in chapter three and will dutifully follow chapter four by keeping everything in true order: first hearing from God and then hearing from man. The last three chapters of the book are powerful as are the prayers through-out same. Thank you Dr. Hash for the joyful journey; now I know what Dr. Benjamin E. Mays meant when he wrote, "low aim is sin." Because of you and The Listening Side of Prayer, I'll "keep on tiptoeing and never accept mediocrity as a goal." Yours in Christ, Deacon Alfred Thomas Fox, Detroit, Michigan.

The Listening Side of Prayer

The Listening Side of Prayer is a must read for all believers. It covers the most neglected part of a Christian's life, hearing from GOD. As believers we are often talking to GOD but fail to take the time to hear what HE is saying to us. As Bishop Hash clearly states "What is important is not what you are saying to GOD, but what GOD is saying to you", for it is what GOD is saying to us that shapes our lives. Reading this book has changed my prayer life tramendously. I could not put it down.
The Missing Ingredient of Prayer Unconvered In This Book
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
This book will change the life of even the greatest prayer warrior! It is simple and yet drives to the core of a missing ingredient in our prayer lives, Listening to God. As Dr. Hash states in this anointed book, we speak often to God, but we fail to stop and listen to what He is trying to tell us. Our guidance comes in His instruction to us and our ability to hear what He is saying, not in our ability to pray lengthy prayers. I hope that a study guide will be developed soon.I personally purchased several copies for gifts.

This book, The listening side of prayer by Bishop J.C. Hash, is what the body of christ needs for the 21st century church. I have NEVER read anything like this book. There is so much christian literature that teaches you what and when to pray but none teaches you how to listen to God after you have prayed. I need to hear from God concerning my future. This book teaches me that and more. This will be my third time reading this book. Each time I read it a new revelation jumps out at me. I too strongly recommend that every born again believer purchase this book for your spiritual library. Get ready for a life changing experience. Bishop Hash, I anxiously await your next book. Thank you for loving the body of christ as you do. Thanks for sharing these GOLD NUGGETS with us.
