While Maggie was in high school she sometimes had answer a cell phone that sat by itself on a side table. The phone calls didn't last very long as she only needed to recite a memorized script her grandfather, a retired rancher and police officer, taught her about "Mr. Connelly" not being home. It was a game to her and she often thought of the man who the callers always asked for. She fantasized about what he looked like and what adventures he had. She hoped she would meet him one day, but she never did. Almost ten years later, she returns home for Thanksgiving to find her grandfather beaten and his house ransacked in the search for a mysterious list of agents, including her own grandfather. With her grandfather injured and the safety of numerous undercover agents on the line, she must help Sam, an federal agent, find the list before it is sold to a man seeking revenge. Maggie realizes quickly that this adventure is not a game after all.
