Excellent coverage of the Armenian genocide issue and recovery efforts

An excellent book written by Prof. Stanly Kerr, Ph.D. who had an intimate knowledge of the horrors against the Christian population of Anatolia, Turkey (largely the area of Cilicia) comprising mainly ethnic Armenian, but also Assyrian, Greek, and Arab Christians startling in April 1915 and running into 1920 and a bit beyond. Those Christians who were pressured into the religion developed by Mohammed were largely spared. Dr. Kerr headed the Near East Relief efforts and later was a professor at the near by American Univ. of Beirut (Lebanon) and developed close contacts with survivors of this first genocide of the 20th century. The contents of the book were validated by my wife's uncle, Dicran Berberian, M.D. of Albany, NY. I purchased and read the book back in 1973 and again this season.
